Construction Materials Acceptance Criteria Materials NOT accepted at ARC's facilities include:  No Hazardous WasteNo Universal Waste (a.k.a. Electronic Waste)No Medical WasteNo Asbestos-containing MaterialsNo MSW (Municipal Solid Waste)/ Household trashNo Propane TanksNo TiresNo Liquids/Paints, etc. Due to end-market requirements, certain materials can not be mixed or combined with certain recyclable materials, such as: Pressure-treated wood and RR Ties can not be mixed with any woodwaste loads.Painted wood is acceptable, but not mixed with any virgin wood source such as stumps, logs or brush.Asphalt shingles should be free of other materials or debris. Only black tarpaper is acceptable with shingles. |
